It is a nice place to visit.

This is a picture from the center of the universe. (Toronto)
I am trying to decide if I should move there.
I am still open for comments on this subject.

i love Toronto. I think it gets a bad rap. We don't see our selves as "the centre" of anything but do recognize the importance of business and are often seen rushing about. Is that so bad? Torontonians love to travel Canada and are proud of the country, every little bit of it.
Does the US hate NYC just because they get a bit more attention? Nope.
If you want some more details on the city check out my blog, it's all about Toronto:
http://416style.blogspot.com i know you've been by before.
I hope you decide to come stay awhile.

I say 'center of the universe' with love. I do visit your blog as a result of the link on The Hour. I keep the link in my favorites.
By the way my Dad grew up in Toronto and went to the U of T.
Half my family is living in that area. One of my reservations is I am just not sure I want to shed my minority anglophone status.

I guess you have to weigh what is keeping you in Montreal vs what you would have in Toronto. Family is a huge draw, I would think. But then there are friends and job to consider in Montreal. Not an easy decision.

Most of my family lives in Toronto, but I just don't like it (not because of the family! He he). I can go visit but I cannot live there.

Good luck with the decisions, Barbara.

Thank you Sookie, Barbara B and Jas. I am still far from making up my mind. No deadlines unless CBC offers me a job. Then hey, I am there!
In other words, I don't need to choose anything right now. So this gets weighed carefully. I welcome more input.

If CBC offers me a job and George S. marries me, I can consider living in Toronto!! He he he! :)

lol! Wow. I can't see George getting married.
George = husband ??
(but if you do marry him I want to get in line to kiss the groom!)
I can see he would make a good Dad though.

hahaha he would make a fantastic dad, but, yes, not the marrying type I think.

Imagine him interviewing the guy who wanted to date his 15 years old daughter?

Oh man, I'd want to see that!
