My blog will be quiet now.

I will be going with my parents to Toronto this weekend. It looks like rain all along the 401 for the five hour drive there. That should be a fun drive. I got a mix CD I prepared for the drive that I hope my parents will let me play twice. LOL. It's got everything from Sam Roberts singing Brother Down to People are strange by The Doors, plus a lot of Canadian folkrock and rock from both centuries.
I am not even packed yet but the music is ready!
First destination is Burlington for a nephew's first communion party. Looking forward to seeing Everyone. Two days there, then two days in Toronto to paint the town with my Sister, her kids, and my Mother. Monday afternoon it's goodbye TO. Hmmm there would be time for the CBC tour... We'll leave my Dad to drive home by himself while we take the train home.
Poor Dad can stop where he wants, listen to what he wants, and have peace all the way home.
Will I be able to blog while I am there? Yeah right, try getting computer time when there are kids in the house. So I will be back in no time, you have a great weekend and if I don't come back for some reason, I will try to get a message to you...
be happy
Barbara

"I am not even packed yet but the music is ready!" - at least you've got your priorities straight!

Have a great trip, a safe journey, and be sure to pack a lot of visiting into those days. We'll miss you, but I'll catch you up when you get back.
And you are bang on about trying to get computer time when there are kids in the house. It's a battle I fight daily.

What happened to Nick and Sean? Why's Dad driving by himself?

Since you ask anonymous, Sean has not been doing his best in school. Friday and Monday are review days that he can't afford to miss. I think all those girls chasing him is distacting for him. So Nick is going to make sure Sean gets his homework done. School has been the excuse for both kids. Why Nick has to stay home when Maggie is already staying home is beyond me. Nick should come just to be with his Sisters. Mum and I were booked to take the train back before we heard the latest change of plans. Plans may still change. I will try to talk Nick into coming anyway.

I promised Toronto ( sometime known as Tarana) I would give it a hug Jas. Sorry no ass kicking this time.

I am commenting from Toronto. Just got here from first stop (Burlington).Tomorrow shopping, and more shopping and then maybe some shopping and I will see about hugging a few Torontonians. Monday we might take a bus tour of TO. Mainly 'cause that is more my Mums speed. I am sure we will find a good restaurant for a break.
I am still going to the CBC I promise.

I don't think there ever will be a Mrs. Stroumboulopoulos... A George's Girlfriend sure but making it official? I can't see it. I did not see that tshirt anywhere.
