Full day

This morning I got up and got ready for a great day off.
The weather was beautiful!!! No jackets required. 20c and sunny!
A friend came over and I helped her print up her projects.
When She left, I did my taxes. *does a little I did my taxes dance*
After that I made an appointment to get my winter tires changed back to all seasons.
Then my bike tire needed a new tube so to the 'tire' store we went.
Picked up some fries for the folks on the way home.
Changed the bike tire with my Dad's help. Went for a bike ride.
Came back and broke out my new itunes music store card for some downloading time.
Downloaded a dozen great tunes. I will save the rest of the credit for another time.
Listening to it now.... *humms along* whatta mix! This is what I get for listening to you all!
Bien Bizzare! My downloads ranged from: Money by Pink Floyd to In This Life by Chantal Kreviazuk. With some James Blunt, some Hawksley Workman, some Matt Good, Lynda Ronstadt, Jann arden... and so on. This is what That Teenage Feeling is like for a woman my age.
I am sipping wine and celebrating this beautiful day and the fact that the Canadiens made it to the playoffs! What could be better?
Cheers!

be happy

And some interesting music picks. Good diversity!
What a great day. And thanks for the reminder that I need to do my taxes. Argh!!!!!!

lol Yeah I think the steady diet of easter chocolate helped my mood too. the taxes took half an hour on the 'puter then done! I don't know why I put it off this long. Canadians love do taxes everybody. Let it be known! LOL. It helped that I bought the itunes card (*200 optimum points) as a reward for getting them done.

Ah yes, the reward system at its finest! Which Hawksley Workman and Matt Good songs did you get btw? And are you referring to the Neko Case song That Teenage Feeling? Great cd!

I don't do my own taxes anymore because we have too much weird stuff. It's beyond my pathetic little brain.

Matt Good songs : Look Happy It's The End Of The World and It's Been Awhile Since I Was Your Man. Hawksley's was A Moth Is Not A Butterfly and Striptease. I also tried a George S recommendation from the Flaming Lips. The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song... that is a Strange and funny song. I also got from Steppenwolf, Magic Carpet Ride.

The Neko Case I quoted, and you caught, was from the CD you made me buy. The one I play in my car everyday.

I made you buy? Hey now, you have free will, honey! It's great though, innit?

I love It's Been a While. And Striptease - that is such a fun song! The Flaming Lips are really fun too. I'd like to see them live sometime.

Barbara B., I am just teasing you about Neko Case(I am loving that CD). I am happy to follow some of your advise I still don't see what you see in the Weakerthans... but hey we can't agree on everything. You are almost always right...
