I took a different route into town today because I needed to pick up a co-worker.
Now I know what it is like to drive on streetcar tracks.. Not fun. But, worth the detour because I came up on Front street from the west and saw the city center in a beautiful sunrise glow. I did not take a picture of it because I was driving. My passenger took a pic with her cell phone. I will pick her up again tomorrow and hand her my camera and hope for another sunrise like that one.
I love working at the convention center. I wish this conference would go on for a lot longer. We knew nothing about anything when we started training on Friday and now we're getting the hang of it. By the time the conference ends this Friday we will have it down pat.
I miss my parents, family, friends and old co-workers, and I even miss my old job.
I get so busy though I forget to contact them. My email still needs fixing so I can do that. My new email address (for those who have my old email address) just replace @videotron.ca with @roger.com and you have my new email address. Then send me an email so I can add you to my new address book. Thanks. That will save me some data entry.

Its Amanda from your old work!! I thought i would give you a small update!!! Well... Annie went to the Mariah Carey concert last night and had the most amazing time ever!! I'm really happy for her!! Umm... Andrei quit to go back to school so that sucks... I became a supervisor in trainning!! Yay for me!! Tracey is still working really hard and Anne is back from vacation.. other then that i dont know what to tell you but this is just a lil note to say hi!!! Say hello to George for me!! Did they get Tracey an assistant Manager yet? Tell Tracey they pay very well for bilingual people in TO and she should come down.

Wow Toronto at sunrise - lucky you!
I once had an unfortunate incident on the street car tracks while driving in TO. I was a teenager, following directions from my Mom, she told me to turn left. It was a one-way street. Not pretty at all. I no longer listen when she talks to me driving anymore ;)
I love the sunrise downtown in any big city, reminds you how small everything truly is.
