What's up?

Since the C Lounge party, I was given a free ticket someone else had won from a radio station to the yet to be released Rocky Balboa movie. A lot of VIPs were there. I know I sat beside a couple of reserved seats. The guys that filled those seats were good looking, smelled nice and I have no idea who they were...
The movie itself... 2/3rds painful and 1/3rd good fight scene. Go Rocky!

This weekend I got most of my Christmas shopping finished. I will visit family tomorrow and do a little pre celebration in fact this entire week will be pre celebrations before I go back to Montreal for the real celebration.

Dan Folgelberg! My father really likes him and I think his favorite is Leader of the Band. I know a lot of lyrics to a lot of Dan Folgelberg songs because of my father's love for him.

Oh, Barbara your list has just brought back a lot of really lovely memories for me! I think that is one of the greatest things about music; how it can transcend you through time and space.

Seabone again! That's pretty cool.

I love Leader of Band (and that song is all about Dan's dad). It was my sister that got me interested in Dan Folgelberg when we were kids. It's only in the past couple of years that I revisted his music and remembered why I liked it.
I am so glad you have good memories of it too.

Why do they alwasy have all these sports movies released right around Christmas, I wonder. Is it to cash in on the post-Christmas gym membership sales?

Probably Barbara B. Even I felt like working out after seeing this film
