Do you think about it all the time?

Blogging I mean.
I find that each time I go out somewhere to do something no matter how trivial, in my mind I am working out how to blog about it. Lucky for you those things don't make it to the blog posting stage, but it has taken over my life just a tad. I try not to let blogging rule my life but it seems to be guiding it. I will be taking a trip to Toronto this week for a duel purpose very much related to blogging, but also related to my admiration for a certain news show and a certain news show host. Those details you can find on my joint blog
The Stroumboulopouli.
A second blog? Yes I know, that is another sign of addiction. I try to justify my hobby by saying it's not drugs, alcohol, or cigarettes. It's not harmful to my health or the environment. Not in anyway I can think of at the moment. My Mother might argue that I am not out meeting people if I am in front of my computer whenever I am not at work or sleeping. The truth is I have met many great people via the net even before I started blogging. That has lead me to actually meeting them in the real world as well. I have met more great people via the blogs, and blog related activity. The co-creators of the second blog are a great example of that. We do plan to get together to meet in person in September. They are an intelligent group of funny and talented bloggers with their own addiction to blogs and a certain news show and news show host.
What's that called again? Co-dependents? Or do I call it the fellowship of the blog.
The question is now that I admit and recognize my addiction do I want to give up my addiction anytime soon? No frigin way!
Thank you for your understanding.

be who you want to be
Barbara

I usually have about 6 or 7 posts perculating in my head, ready to write at any time. I guess I am addicted to blogging, but I can quit anytime. Yeah right.

I don't even think I can quit. I remember the day that my blog went down for twenty one hours... That was a very hard day for me.

What is funny is that when I started my blog, I did not know what to write, sometimes I had ideas but I did not know how to try it. And now, I have too many ideas!

I've always played conversations, ideas around in my head before I started bloggin and they'd sit in my journal. Now, I write them out for others to see and its really been an interesting experience. Although most of my blog is dedicated to links, etc every once in awhile I post more of my thoughts. And I never thought I get to 'meet' and talk with others, like all you ladies!

I constantly have posts in my head, how to spin boring days into entertaining peices of writing. But I love it!

I took a picture of a pile of dirt just in case I might need it for a blog one day.

Ok confessions aside for a moment. ((((Judie)))))) welcome to the blogging world! I put you on my links on the sidebar. When I am in Toronto Thursday and Friday I will show you how to do that for your own blog. Does knowing how to make a link in a template count as a good job skill?

Hey Barbara,

I'm glad I read beyond the first line before I started to answer; I had something completely different in mind. Could have been very embarrassing! As time goes on I'm weakening and may one day give in and start my own blog. It's getting harder to feel at home on the different Anderson blogs, always end up with hurt feelings or arguments. If it's my blog,it can reflect me - good or bad.

Haha, you should REALLY check out my latest post. I often find myself thinking about blogging when an interesting event is happening. I end up spending a minute thinking what the title should be, and what the post should be about. I don't always post them though, but at least I get inspired!

Ellee terrorists don't intimidate me. I am going to Toronto on Thursday. I am going to the heart of where the 'targets' were. My Sister Judie started a blog yesterday and the first post is all about how she feels about the terrorist threat in her city. the link is on my sidebar.

Andysgirl I would be the first to encourage you to get addicted to starting your own blog. Let me know when it's up and running. But remember you are talking to a blog addict.

I think about it ALL the time. It is very addictive and as a result, I usually neglect to do several household chores...

I do have many ideas about posts, but I never get down to putting them up in words and on the blogosphere...
...maybe I am not addicted to blogging. :)

Barbara said...

That sounds like denial Jas... You have twice as many blogs as I do and less than half the spare time.
How do you do it?
Diana I think it's starts with putting off one chore then it snowballs...
