Howdy! I checked out the new website, and to be truthful, I'm not that big of a fan of it. Maybe it's just that I was used to the old one, or maybe it's just that it's a little bit all over the place... I think it'll grow on me, though. At least George gave us a date for when Strombo.com will be up, August 1st. It's like our early birthday present from him!
I noticed that. I love the colours, layout and stuff. but it'll take me a while to get used to. you know it's like adjusting to knew shoes, or a new band. you totally love it, but it you aren't familiar with it..
Looks really good to me, except for the fact they've dropped my post - the buggers. Now I have to think up a new one. When did you get word verification? It plays havoc with dyslexics!
Sorry about the word verification Barbara B but it seems to confuse the comp. gen. comments I was getting. I see evelynes post, not the one about goats, but the one about George as a teaching aid is on the tracker... lol I saw the new Hour site on my lunch hour. I only had time to write them to say it looks great and I will explore it later. I then posted here a quick word to say it'a a new look then I got back to work 5 minutes late... It will take some time to get used to.. that's what I like so much to explore on a dull weekend. tmcg, Putting out pictures to shock people is nothing new for The Hour... Big photos of Stephen Harper can scare anyone.
I like all the links to the stories, which was something the old site lacked. But it will take some getting used to, I agree, and the picture of George is smaller now... And there are fewer blog links... But over all I think it looks better.
BTW, I missed last night's episode because I was watching the hockey game at the 5pm airing, and for the 8pm airing, Newsworld had the nerve to preempt The Hour with a special on the playoffs! I was so ticked off!
Wandering if you had just waited 10 minutes after the Hockey game you would have seem they played The Hour right after there 10 minute special on the playoffs.
seen.... See I just got home from the play I took my mother to. The drive there, the parking and the drive back home were the most exciting parts. I dropped my Mother off infront of the Theatre then I went to go find parking... I found parking in the parking lot of the same chain store I work for. I begged them not to tow my car (after 30 minutes) because I am an employee of the chain. lol. She told me I am taking my chances and there is no garentee. I had 2 minutes to spare before the play was to begin. I parked there, asked my parking angel to look after my car then I ran to the theatre. made it! ;-b I am glad I did not miss it. The play was very funny. Well done.
Sound like the play was great! People in general should go to more plays, add a little more variety into our TV and internet culture (wow, I'm a great person to say this... a megafan of a tv show and a constant blogger!). It's really cool that you went, too bad about the close call parking, though.
Barbara, I was just reading your first blog entry, and I saw what you wrote about Anderson Cooper, he's a fave of mine, too! I love 360 (although, not as much as The Hour...)! Freakish!

I like it a lot, it looks gravy. It's got a zillion more options, which is also gravy. Seventy seven thumbs up from me.

I was scared to see such a big photo of Stephen Harper on the site. I thought The Hour's website was hijacked by Conservatives..
Ye Gads!!!!
I like the new version of the website... it fits with the show all black and red.
And there are so many new things on it!

I'm going to wait until summer break to fully explore the site, it'll give me something to do while in what I like to call 'The Hour withdrawal'.

Sorry, that anon. comment was me.

I just got your email Barbara, I sent you a response, but if you check this first, send the survey over!
I could not stand the word verification anymore. It's gone!
