Day 4
I got up at 4:30am, drove in the dark for my first time to the Convention center across from the CBC building on Front Street. Found parking. Started day two of volunteer support. Logistics were still being worked out. You can imagine this is the biggest single event the convention center has handled. Over 20000 delegates 3000 press thousands of volunteers and staff. By the end of my shift I was tired. I tried to take a nap, but too many things were running through my head, then I went out to a singles event with my sister tonight. I stayed for a drink. Then went home. Are you kidding I have to get up at 4:30am on Sunday, thru Friday. I am posting this and going to bed. There is no way I am going to the kickoff concert. I like my sleep too much. Day 4 and the pace of TO has tuckered me out.

And ofcourse you've got a lot on your mind with settling into your new place.
Take it easy and enjoy the rest.
aww...I highly recommend rest. The run around catches up with you. Sleep is a good enough reason to miss out on the concert. Although its unfortunate that you can't make it. There are always more shows though, right! That's what I tell myself about all the music I miss, we can't go to everything, much as we would like to.
What everybody else said ... you can't do it all. I gripe when I have to get up at 5:30, so I can imagine you're pretty zonked. But's only a week.
Who is playing at the concert, anyway?
my fav. band BNL is playing. I did not pay attention to who else is playing but I gotta skip it in any case. I am sure the media is covering it like nothing else. Did I tell you there are 3000 media at this convention?
Ariel I will take both days to celebrate my bday that sounds like a good plan.
I did not see Jian, but in crowds of thousands it's was a long shot Minty.

Allison I had the interview on day two and got the job on day three. I start on Aug 21. I am still hoping you know who will call about interviewing me for you know what though.
4.30am!!! Take it easy lady and keep marinading yourself in coffee :D
