Common knowledge in Montreal is you don't turn right on a red light (it's also the law). It may be common sense to turn if there are no cars coming, but tell that one to the cops when they give you a ticket. <BR/>Kids have to be told not to lick the metal post in winter, after some smart kid dares them... it's more of a common knowledge thing.
